Jamie + Ken: Dunton Hot Springs Elopement
/Jamie and Ken had a perfect wedding.
Deep in the Colorado mountains, between Dolores and Telluride, the snow-covered the ground. The sky was teasing at more. Still, the air created a sense of calm and solitude throughout the little ghost town. And on Valentine's weekend, love was all around.
Jamie got ready in the sweet little cabin the two had spent the weekend in while Ken sipped a glass of whiskey and the saloon. They meet under the chapel to say their vows - just the two of them. Tears were shed, and smiles and laughter followed.
After the ceremony, we went exploring over the property, to the tee-pee, the bathhouse, the hot springs and ended at the saloon, where they both shared kisses and smiles over a stiff drink.
I will admit that I couldn't contain my tears when editing the ceremony photos, as the expressions on both these kindred spirit’s faces said so much. I think you'll agree, it is meant to be.
