7 years as a wedding photographer and this was a first for me. For the first and possibly only time in my career, the Bride had the same name as me. I figured it must have been a sign that we were going to have a great time and make some great photos together. And we sure did!

Alexie and Jordan were set to be married across the country surrounded by hundreds of guests, far from Dunton Hot Springs in Colorado. But as the promise that Covid-19 wasn’t going away anytime soon became real, these two decided to postpone the large wedding and go somewhere they had both never been to say their vows and honor their love. Alexie said that they basically threw a dart on a map and found Dunton - the same way I usually plan trips too. I think they could not have got luckier with their choice.
