Vita and Mark came to Durango to get hitched in early July. They love everything Colorado has to offer and visit Durango often for family vacations. It made sense that they chose Durango to tie the knot but they couldn't leave out their many friends and family, so their people came from near and far; from Colorado to New York, to Israel.

Vita and Mark's children also became family on the wedding day as Hannah, Zac and Jake all became brother and sister through their parent's union. It was truly something special to see the children play such integral parts in the wedding proceedings, from reciting poems, to blessings, to a speech by Vita's young son, Jake, and songs by Mark's children, Hannah and Zac.

This wedding was so special that I forgot that the happy couple had to change plans and rework some things because of the 416 fire that was burning up North. It is remarkable that we put so much emphasis on the details of the wedding, from the venue to the flowers, but in the end it really is all about LOVE and FAMILY. This wedding proved that you could get married anywhere in this beautiful town of ours and have the best day ever!
