I was so excited to photograph Sam and Greg’s wedding this September. Not only because I knew these two were going to be a blast to hang with all day but also becuase the Paradise ceremony site is my new favorite location at Purgatory. The backdrop cannot be beat, high up on the front side of the ski slopes and accessed by chair lift or bus on a very rough and amazing mountin ride. One of my favorite things to do before a wedding is take in the scenery and have some meditative time on my drive to the location. This is one of my favorite dirves becasue, its rugged backroads with stellar views of the Needles mountian range in the San Jauns.

Sam and greg had a wonderfully planned, easy-going wedding that left so much room for me to be creative on summertime slopes for portraits. We utilized the chairlifts, access roads, ski-runs, and much more. Congratulations to the happy couple. Enjoy.
