Cascade Wedding in the Rain: Elisa + Jim
/When Elisa and Jim came to me over a year ago to hire me as their wedding photographer, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing! I didn’t know it was going to rain-out the ceremony and group portraits, however. I actually was convinced that based on the radar, the rain was going to pass just before the ceremony. I turned out to be wrong and thankfully the bride listened to her gut and the ceremony was moved indoors at the last minute. In my defense, Colorado storms never last long and usually always don’t happen like the weather says it will. The forecast usually is something like, “30% chance of rain, sunny, high of 86 degrees all day”.
You know what’s great about summer storms? Sunsets! Elisa and Jim’s nuptials really turned into a fairy tale when we saw that light hit those rain clouds! But enough about the weather. These two lovebirds deserve all the happiness in the world and I wish them best wishes and a lifetime of joy!
~Enjoy!
