Funky Hillside Gardens Wedding: Katie + Blake
/Have I mentioned that I love traveling to epic wedding destinations? Well, I do! Hillside Gardens in Colorado Springs has got to be the funkiest, coolest, most eclectic wedding venue I have ever had the privilege to photograph and I am so happy Katie and Blake asked me to make the journey with them.
Not only was the venue amazing but this couple was a couple of rock stars, literally. I was constantly amazed by how relaxed both the bride and groom were and by how much they just wanted to enjoy their guest's company and be in the wedding moment.
Oh, but back to the rock star thing: These two lovebirds and members of their wedding party are all in a band on Portland and they could travel all that way together and not play for the wedding. It was by far the most unique wedding reception I have ever had the privilege to photograph.
