Intimate Lakeside Wedding: Melinda + Jonah

Melinda and Jonah came from Albuquerque and chose Vallecito from my list of Spring wedding locations. It was a perfect, abeit extremly windy, day at the lake. First was a small ceremony with their closest friends, then the bride and groom and I wandered around the shoreline and the forest groves snapping photos every step of the way. When I'm at this lake I always think it reminds me so much of Italy. But, unlike Lake Como, Vallecito is for locals, very sleepy still, and free of charge. The more of the world I travel, the more I find our neck of the woods to be the most beautiful and unique.
