Winter Waterfall Engagement Photos: Sam + Greg

Sam and Greg decided to be adventure with us for their engagement session this winter. We hiked to lower the Cascade Falls, North of Durango. I love this area so much because it is a local treasure and is unmarked and unmapped. But with the age of Instagram and covid-19 people seem to be finding our secrecy, local palaces more and more. One thing I always tell my clients during every session is to leave no trace and that includes not posting your location on the internet.

I love how my clients are always so respectful of our local lands! Everyone is super understanding when I educate them on these issues and we all end up leaving with a such a connection not only the land, but each other as well.

I can’t wait to photograph Sam and Greg’s wedding this fall at Purgatory Ski Resort. Until then, enjoy!
