Charlene + Kahlob: October Wedding at Engineer Meadows

I have been getting a lot of calls about fall elopements and small weddings this past week and it has had me digging through old galleries to see when peak colors were last year. Last year it peaked later, around October 5th. Most years, the colors peak in the higher elevations around Durango about 9/28, around 9-10,000 feet up. A week makes all of the difference up in the high-country. This year, I can't be too sure, but my best guess based on snowfall and heat is 10/1. Anyone wanna place bets? Also, here are a bunch of photos from Charlene and Kahlob's intimate wedding at Engineer Meadows at Purgatory Resort last fall. I guess I spaced making this blog last year!
